Ironically, we called all this liberation " freedom" and progress while it is in itself slavery for the Devil, deterioration of ethics, abandoning the lofty Islamic principles and harking back to the abyss of disbelief which leads to woe and sorrow in the end. 

           Of the most serious ailments befalling the nation is loving world life, comfort and relaxation. Going to places of entertainment that serve impermissible activities and running after the luxuries of this life are some of the plagues that befell us nowadays... What's more dangerous is that we abandoned enjoining what is right and forbidding what is wrong and we even fight and punish those few- the inheritors of Prophets- who try to admonish their Muslim brethrens... This will consequently lead the following generations to humility and weakness. The Muslim men will also lose their dignity and gallantry. And what a pity! Whoever tries to wake up out of this slumber and beckons at us to return to Allah and the Prophet and abide by the Holy Qur'an and the Prophet's Traditions in an attempt to enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong to guide us to success and dignity in this world and in the Hereafter, we just humiliate him and ask him to mind his own business. What good are we to find after doing all this?… We have forgotten or try to forget that enjoining the right and forbidding the wrong is an obligatory deed. Allah ordained it to honour us the Muslims. This deed is what makes us the best nation raised for mankind and qualify it to bear witness to other nations on the Day of Resurrection.
