fact
that they have an unshakable faith in Allah and that they
fear Him and seek His help to strengthen their will and consolidate their
determination are triumphant.
I can see promising signs of sensibility and sound common sense in our dear
brothers and sisters whom Allah have afflicted with this appalling malady to
test their faith. I believe they can differentiate between good and evil and
that they realize that smoking is one of the impurities, Allah forbids in His
glorious Qur'an as mentioned hereinabove. I hope they are brilliant enough
to figure it out, so that they may prosper. Now we repeat the verse of Allah,
blessed be He, who says : (Say
O Muhammad صلى

)
: “ Not equal are Al-Khabith (all
that is evil and bad as regards things, deeds, beliefs, persons and foods)
and Al-Tayyib (all that
is good as regards things, deeds, beliefs, persons and foods),
even though the abundance of Al-Khabith may please you. “ So fear Allah, O
men of understanding in order that you may be successful. (Al-M
a’idah 100)
After all what we explained, let us ask ourselves this question: can anyone
of us dare to say that smoking is from the goods?: After making sure that it
harms man's body and mind and consumes his fortune. It also causes dangerous
diseases
and rotten smell in the smoker's mouth which makes the
angels to bolt from him whether during his prayers or otherwise. Not
only do angels get bolt, but also people. They feel disgust and prefer to
avoid coming closer to him when they talk to him. After all can the smoking,
be advantageous!?.. Your conscience tongue says: "No, by Allah, it is
not".. So, as long as you admit, the smoking is not from goods, what
then?.. Of course it is an impurity. This equation is easily intelligible to
each one of us. So since we concluded that smoking is an impurity, then we
understand that it is forbidden by virtue of a verse in the glorious Qur'an.
Let us assert unwaveringly that smoking is forbidden,
