in
one of his [Hadiths]: " Hearts are between two fingers
of Allah the Merciful, Glory Be to Him, and He transform them"…
That is why the Prophet used to pray often to Allah: "O Allah! Make
my heart firm in Your religion"… We follow in the Prophet's steps
and repeat behind him (pbuh) say: "O Allah, Who changes hearts! fix our
hearts firm in Your religion." [ Our Lord! Let not our hearts
deviate (from
the truth) after you have
guided us, and grant us mercy from You. Truly, You are the Bestower.
], for You are the Ever bestowed... O! All-seeing All-Mighty God, have Mercy
on us, You Most Gracious.
My brethren in Islam, whenever we listen to these aforementioned
traditions, we feel in them as a warning bell against a serious threat that
already befell our Muslim nation in this age… This warning reverberates
and makes the hearts of those keen on prosperity in the Hereafter ... These
traditions make the Muslim these days wonder in which group his beliefs and
the way he performs the rituals and ordinances put him?… Is he one of
those the Prophet promised success in the Hereafter or of those stray
seventy-two groups doomed to Hellfire?
By
Allah this is a highly important issue,… and
woe to him who turns deaf ear to it
and doesn't care of it… Woe to
him who reads these words of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), who never speaks of
his own desire,… And considers them not. The Muslim person should stop for
a moment to think about his deeds, concerning the religious rituals and
beliefs and all the things pertaining to religion. He should review his
beliefs and deeds to compare them with what is ordained in the Qur'an and
the Holy Tradition… Then, he must wonder
