Ilah(God) and your
Ilah (God)
is One (i.e. Allah),
and to Him we have submitted (as
Muslims).”
(Al-Ankabut
: 46 ).
He
confirms the same meaning in the following two verses mentioned in the
Surat
Al-Baqarah :
“
Say (O Muhammad صلى
الله عليه
وسلم to
the Jews and Christians ), “
Dispute you with us about Allah while He is our Lord and your Lord? And we
are to be rewarded for our deeds and you for your deeds. And we are sincere
to Him [ in worship and obedience (i.e. we worship Him Alone and none
else, and we obey His Orders)]. * Or say you that Ibrahim (Abraham), Ismail (Ishmael),
Ishaq (Isaac), Ya’qub (Jacob) and Al-Asbat [ the offspring of the twelve
sons of Ya’qub (Jacob) were Jews or Christians? Say, “Do you know better
or does Allah (know better… that they all were Muslims)? And who is more
unjust than he who conceals the testimony [i.e. to believe in prophet
Muhammad صلى
الله عليه
وسلم when
he comes, as is written in their Books. (See Verse 7:157) he
has from Allah? And Allah is not unaware of what you do.”
(Al-Baqarah
139-140).
We are only asking them: Where are the Torah and the Bible exactly as came
on to Moses and Jesus on the one hand the old Testament and the New
Testament on the other? : With the
ir
multiplicity and diverse authors
adopting different, even contradictory, attitudes and beliefs. These books
are no more than the products of their own pens and they contain stories
originally narrated by humans as a piece of their w
rong minds. They do not
have any bearing of true reference to the original Torah or Bible. We also
pose this question to them: where have you brought them from?
Allah, to whom all power and majesty belong
s
, refers to them in his
miraculous book saying :
